ABOUT Josh WOOD
Josh Wood is an ordained Christian minister, preacher, teacher, and author based on the Gold Coast, Australia. With more than twenty years of ministry experience, he has devoted his life to helping people deepen their relationship with Jesus and live in the fullness of God’s promises.
Having grown up in a strong Christian home and served faithfully in ministry from a young age, a life-changing encounter with Jesus in 2009 marked a significant turning point in both his life and calling. From that time forward, Josh began proclaiming the message of God’s Kingdom across multiple nations, seeing the Lord save, heal, deliver, and equip thousands of people through the grace and power of the Holy Spirit.
Josh carries a deep passion for preaching Christ and helping believers move beyond passive Christianity into a genuine, transformative relationship with Jesus. His ministry is marked by a strong emphasis on discipleship, identity in Christ, freedom, faith, holiness, Spirit-empowered living, and practical Kingdom transformation. Through preaching, teaching, and hands-on equipping, Josh seeks to help people not only understand biblical truth, but walk it out in everyday life as ambassadors of God’s Kingdom within their families, workplaces, churches, and spheres of influence.
Over the years, Josh has ministered in churches, conferences, discipleship schools, evangelistic gatherings, workshops, leadership settings, and ministry events throughout Australia and internationally. Known for his honest, practical, and Scripture-rooted communication style, his heart is to see people awakened to the reality of the Gospel and equipped to live lives marked by intimacy with God, freedom from sin and unbelief, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Alongside itinerant ministry, Josh is passionate about developing discipleship resources that equip believers beyond the church service environment. Through podcasting, media, online teaching, books, courses, and creative projects, Josh Wood Ministries exists to help people step into what Josh often describes as the “Promised Life” — a life of freedom, wholeness, fruitfulness, purpose, and communion with God made possible through Jesus Christ.
Josh is the author of Fully Convinced, a book focused on faith, identity, and living surrendered to the promises of God, with additional books, teaching resources, and online discipleship courses currently in development. His broader vision is to see believers awakened, equipped, and empowered to live fruitful lives that reflect the nature, truth, and love of Jesus in every area of society.

Josh has been married to his wife Elise for twenty years, and together they are raising their two sons, Harry and Elijah. As a family, they remain committed to serving the Kingdom of God and helping people encounter Jesus, be transformed by the Gospel, and live lives of lasting Kingdom purpose and impact.
